Thursday, July 16, 2026 · 7:00 PM–9:00 PM

ConcertsFree

Lexington Parks & Recreation is partnering with Antagonist Productions’ Shakespeare in the Park show, presenting William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. This year’s production will run July 10–12 and July 16–19. New this year, the production will feature a special Opening Night Ceremony on July 10, celebrating the artists, sponsors, and community partners who make the event possible. Each evening will begin with live music by local musicians, creating a lively pre-show atmosphere before the performance. During the first weekend, students from Innovation Arts Academy will return to perform a special children’s pre-show, showcasing young talent and welcoming families to the event. In addition to the performance, audiences can enjoy a variety of local food trucks, vendor tents, and sponsor booths throughout the evening. While the event remains free and open to the public, VIP seating will be available for patrons who wish to reserve premium viewing spots while supporting the production.
